Pioneer Chief of Police Tom Saccenti secures life conviction against Hernandez.

The Pioneer Police Department executed search warrants, conducted interviews, and worked with various law enforcement agencies, and the hard work paid off this week when they secured a life conviction against a man who was not only distributing child pornographic material across the internet, they also convicted the man of raping his young step daughter for several years.

 Chief Tom Saccenti would not release all the names and details stating, “This is a small community, the victim has already been hurt enough, we don’t need to re-victimize her” but he did state that the Pioneer Police Department responded to a residence within the city as a result of the mother of the girl stating that her daughter reported that her stepfather had been touching her inappropriately.

Chief Saccenti states, “We have policies on how to handle this type of situation, when the responding officer heard what the allegations were, he followed policy perfectly”. Chief Saccenti  had the home secured while a search warrant was written up. He then contacted BCI&I to assist his evidence technicians with processing the home, “We were not going to take any chances on this. Call it just a feeling, but I knew that there was going to be more to this case and I wanted to make sure we had everything covered”.

Because Hernandez had moved out of the home several months prior, Chief Saccenti had his investigative team begin to locate the suspect. “We ended up serving 3 search warrants in 2 different counties, but we found him”. While officers searched the new home of Hernandez, Chief Saccenti conducted a 4 hour interview with Hernandez. During the search Officers found a computer that was hidden. The computer was sent to a forensic analyst who discovered that Hernandez was using the computer to view and send child pornography. Hernandez initially denied the allegations, however, pled no contest to the charges and received a life sentence.

Car subwoofer is the life of a quality car sound system. However, a lot of people don’t know what a subwoofers are and what do they do? Basically, car subwoofersare loudspeakers intended to generate the lowest frequencies, or bass end of the audible sound range. Car subwoofers are usually sold separately from other car speakers, though you can probably find an entire set that also includes a car amplifier and sub.

A subwoofer is important because it not only produces a strong bass sound, but italso relieves pressure from your standard speakers. Subwoofers are of either a passive or powered type. A passive subwoofer setup will get its’ power from the car audio system. A powered type of setup will get its power delivered independently of the car audio system being used. These are not designed to carry low and high frequencies optimally at the same time, so devoting a subwoofer to the bass makes all of the sound clearer from every speaker. If you are installing a car subwoofer, you will also need a car amplifier with a channel for a sub, if you don’t already have one. The amplifier provides the current needed to power your speakers and subwoofer. Match the power of the amplifier to the wattage labeled on your subwoofers. If your amplifier is more powerful than your subwoofers, you might damage your system, so make sure your components are compatible. Also be sure that you are connecting your amp and your subwoofer with high gauge connection cables.

Installation is another issue: most electronic stores and body shops offer cheap car subwoofer installation, but they are also easily self-installed. Also, be sure to carefully consider what kind of enclosure you need for your subwoofer, as different enclosures will give you different sound qualities. Get a box enclosure if you want to enjoy the advantage of adding your own amplifier and prefer the freedom of choosing your own brand of subwoofer to case in the enclosure.

Business Audio Books Helped My Career!

My job was really getting to me. The same hectic morning commute followed by the same boring job in my same boring cubicle. Not to mention the same annoying boss, the same measly paycheck and the same lack of being promoted after five years with the same company.

Don’t get me wrong, being with the same company for that long has its advantages. I had job security, health insurance, sick days, a paid vacation, etc. But a large part of me wanted to break out of the box. To stop making money for someone else, and to start making it for myself. where to apply for financing. The other dealt with small business ideas, how to choose one based on personality and your individual strengths and weaknesses.

I recently opened a franchise sandwich shop. So far, things are going great! It feels good to be your own boss and to instruct your employees on what to do instead of the other way around. My next purchase will be another audio book, on how to manage a small business!
